Date: Mar 27, 2012 2:17 AM

Can you please circulate this to some Denver folks who might
participate? This task force has the future of Colorado in its
hands !!
Thanks, Sonia

RE: Thursday morning March 29 8:30 - 9:00 am

The Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman St., Rm. 318, Denver, CO 80203
(corner of Sherman and 13th)

Protest the Governor's Oil & Gas Task Force

8:30 -9:00 am: One half hour to send a strong message to the Task
Force and the Governor and the Colorado press, to let them know that
Coloradans protest

the composition and current agenda of the Task Force. If you can
come, you will be representing a large number of people who would like
to come but can't, because it is a work day morning!

Protest the governor’s oil & gas Task Force because it does not
represent Colorado communities and our concerns and is aimed at doing
an end run around

Colorado case law and our elected representatives (state and local)
regarding local government rights to curtail impacts of fracking. It
may expedite

the Fracking Frenzy in Colorado and remove some of the existant rights
of local government to curtail oil and gas drilling with local land
use rules.

The Task Force has no grassroots community representatives, while
there are company oil & gas reps. There are no State Health Dept. nor
toxicologist reps, while there are State oil & gas reps. There are no
non-industry scientific experts on water, air, geology of
earthquakes, etc., while there are industry reps. There are no reps
for organic farmers, ranchers or fishermen, while there are mineral
owner reps.

FREE: SIGNS and Aurora’s (currently) award-winning water provided by
“What the Frack!? Arapahoe”

--certainly you may bring your own !

You and other concerned citizens will be seen by the Governor’s oil &
gas Taskforce members as they arrive for their meeting.
