Hi folks!
I have a simple woodworking project (building out a set of truck drawers) that I need some help with. I can handle the routing/sanding/assembly with my personal tools, the one thing I need to get started is a good table saw and *someone who knows how to use it* to make the initial cuts in the plywood. I have detailed plans and an accurate cut list, I'd estimate this to be roughly an evening's worth of work.
I have used a table saw for projects before but I never quite got the hang of making perfectly square cuts on large work pieces (stock is 5'x5' 1/2" birch plywood), which is why I'm looking for experienced assistance with this stage!
Would any SSD folks be interested in helping out? I can provide payment (cash, beer, or some combination thereof), a donation to the hackerspace in your name, or expertise trade to help with your own project (I'm a professional software engineer with embedded systems experience, I can also design
custom surface-mount PCBs and hand-assemble down to 0603-sized components).
