Responsibilities:

This position is for multiple high profile web application projects within the FSE section. These projects include .NET MVC web applications with an Oracle backend and mainframe applications that have to be converted to the web using ASP.Net MVC while maintaining connectivity with DB2.

 

Key Tasks:

•        Full-time role as Architect, Developer and Technical Lead for the assigned projects/applications for the enterprise applications..

•        Responsible for development of new applications and maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.

•        Responsible for data modeling, maintaining ER diagrams and working with the database team for the required set up.

•        Responsible for leading and coordinating technical aspects of the project/application, including the physical data model development, technical infrastructure, system security, performance tuning, and release implementation

•        Responsible for determining and creating required architecture and design artifacts.

•        Responsible for creating all technical documentation related to the application such as documents explaining developer machine set up, user security set up, class diagrams etc.

•        Provide technical recommendations and solutions for system automation balancing technology needs with project and organization constraints.

•        Responsible for mentoring other team members as required.

•        Responsible for working with project manager to determine estimates, timelines and assignment of tasks.

•        Participate in requirements gathering with business analysts.

•        Coordinate with infrastructure teams as needed.

•        Coordinate testing and quality assurance activities as needed

•        Complete other duties, projects or activities as assigned by the division administrator, manager or project manager as they relate to the goals of the Department of Children and Families

•        Collaborate with Architects in the CARES application projects.
