You didn't just post the same question to Reddit by any chance? ;)
I'm here in Boulder, and I'm doing my own thing [1], but the local
Boulder Android group meeting might be a good way to meet people without
needing to buy them a beverage. :)
I assume you're doing Java development primarily? I've been avoiding
Java as much as possible and doing most of my game development in the
NDK layer, and most of the game jobs I know would require experience
with C/C++ (and Lua).
Good luck with the job search; sorry I can't be more help.

Yes, Tim - that was me on reddit. :) I'm betting you were one of my
replies, thank you!
And yes, I do Java development with Android. Since games usually use
the native libraries, that would be a bit of a learning curve for me,
but something I certainly wouldn't rule out. Your Hamster game has
some nice reviews - I'm tempted give it a try!
I would really like to attend the Boulder Android group meeting, but
the next one is July 14th, and I arrive in town on July 26th - hence
the beverage motivator. ;)
Thanks a lot for your reply, and do keep me in mind if you hear of
anyone needing a Java-Android developer.
