Good afternoon,

 

My name is Rachel Romeo, and I am contacting you on behalf of the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR). On Oct. 14^th 2016, NIDILRR leadership will be visiting the Denver area to hold a listening session that will help inform future funding priorities and strategic direction. Mandated by Congress to develop a Long Range Plan every five years, the agency aims to continue to be responsive to the needs of key stakeholders – especially people living with disabilities.

 

The meeting will be held from 10 am to 1 pm local time. Further information about the event, including discussion questions are available at the following website: http://neweditions.net/meetings/nidilrr-stakeholder-listening-session. Please be sure to register if you plan to attend in person, or listen in via telephone. Additionally, if you know of a colleague that would be interested in this event, please forward their name and contact information to us (please note the other cities these sessions will be held in). I know were it is being held at, I would be glad to attend. I would need a ride there because it starts too early for my normal public means of transportation, I would be able to do the return trip by myself.
