Michelle, Kyle,
4:00-4:30 pm October 6,2017
My wife, Julie and I went to Staples at 1601 29th Street, Suite 1292 to do some business. Upon arriving we saw this huge UPS truck #163430 was parked in an accessible parking spot for people with disabilities! We need accessible parking. We told the driver he was parking in an accessible parking spot for people with disabilities. He commented that it was better than parking on street. He did not move his vehicle and kept on getting packages from Staples. He ignored our issue. Very upsetting to us.

We belong to a national disability rights group called "ADAPT".  We strife to have equal rights in accessibility, housing, healthcare. ADAPT.org. Is a good site to go to see the issues of people with disabilities. The most difficult issue are people's attitudinal barriers towards people with disabilities. This is a good example of that lackadaisical attitude. I hope that by settling an example of this particular driver will send s message throughput UPS that this attitude will not and should not stand.

Please let us know what steps you have taken to remedy this occurrence.

Michelle, Kyle,

Just to follow up what steps did you take to reprimand this driver and reminding others that this conduct is not ok.
