The Disability Integration Act and Why it Matters to You
Webinar May 24th

On May 24th, the United Spinal Association will present an informative
webinar about the Disability Integration Act. This new bill, if passed,
would help people with disabilities live in the community instead of being
forced into institutional settings, such as nursing homes. Participants
will learn the specifics of the bill, and how this law would benefit people
with spinal cord injuries/disorders by ensuring services and supports
needed are provided in a person's home.

Remember that the deadline to apply for the ADAPT Youth Summit is
approaching quick. We want to make sure that all youth between the ages of
18 to 30 that are interested in applying don't miss the opportunity to do
so.

Do you know someone with fire in their belly for disability rights that is
interested in learning how to organize their community, then make sure this
information gets to them.

Want to strengthen your chapter, then be sure to send this information to
your members.

Don't have a chapter and want to find out how to start one, then this is a
great opportunity for you to.
