Hello Boulder,
I have again been asked about the Boulder Nonprofit status/tax id # which would allow for the sharing or merging With Denver discussed/and in my understanding, twice agreed upon, before I left.
This makes some sense as I have continued my connection with Denver while a future North Caro chapter takes slow shape. On the other hand, I have once or twice seen our bylaws years back, and never our tax id or other info which may help Denver--if not share
(and I STILL hope sharing is on the table) than have an idea to build on. The math was always a Tim or Lowell area, not a Jikai Keith one.
Still, there are big things coming which require rapid mobilization and fundraising, and I have been asked once more to try...
Could Lowell, Julie, Robin or whomever might be in the know please help me communicate the needs and steps to work this matter, so I can begin to turn my wheels on work coming in November without unneccassary asks of Denver?
Free Our People
Truly,
Jikai Keith Percy
non-binary, they them their pronouns please
Darn - I thought that this was taken care of when we voted to dissolve. My understanding was that we all agreed to allow Denver ADAPT to take on the 501(c)3 status by doing a name change (if possible). If not possible, we were going to dissolve the 501(c)3 and turnover any funds to Denver. As secretary, I thought that Lowell was in the process of making that happen.
