I am experiencing adobe premiere and windows errors and crashes with the latest Quadro drivers. The crash happens as soon as I load a video in adobe premiere with a Opengl crash message. It also happens when I quite adobe premiere. My display goes black with some colored blocks and then resumes.

Since I have upgraded to adobe premiere CC 2018 and still facing the same problem.
Last driver I used was 390.77
I am also getting this error repetitively in windows error report:
NvAPI_GPU_GetBrandType failed with code=-1

The video footage I am using mostly is h.264 encoded material from my Canon C200 Cine-Cam in either Full-HD or Ultra-HD. I am also sometimes working with h.264 material from other cameras like GoPros or Smartphones.

Having issues with the video card I think. Okay, so it appears as if my upgrade to CC2018 is (as usual) turning into a debacle. Step One, upgraded from CC2017 to CC 2018 on my Windows 7 machine with a Nvidia Quadro K4200 video card. Discovered that the MTS video files that I recorded on my Sony video camera no longer had audio within Premiere. Discovered via the forums that Adobe CC2018 no longer supported Dolby decodes in Windows 7 (or something along those lines). I also had issues with auto-relinking files inside of Premiere that worked fine in CC2017.

Device Encryption Support Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: TPM is not usable, PCR7 binding is not supported, Hardware Security Test Interface failed and device is not InstantGo, Un-allowed DMA capable bus/device(s) detected, TPM is not usable

Adobe Premiere CC 12.1.1 crashed. With internal Intel video card no crash.
When download older driver via device manager for the nvidia card, some 354.xx was installed. Then the Premiere app starts, but says the nvidia driver needs to be updated. After update to the lasted version, the app crashes. Defintely a bug in the NVIDIA driver.

What do you like best about the product?I've been a casual video editor since I was nine years old. Of course, as time has passed, I have had to level up my video editing game a lot by learning new features inside each program I have used: Camtasia, Sony Vegas, Filmora, Premiere Pro, etc., and I think for the first time in a while, I feel entirely comfortable with the workflow established by this program. Usually, my tools were: [Any video editor] + Audacity + AE + Blender, but things became a bit simplified by just using DaVinci Resolve + Blender. I can do wonders with the Fairlight and Fusion tab, and the community is just as impressive as the program is. It's a recommendation for anyone who wants to simplify their workflow and create great content. What do you dislike about the product? The only problem with DaVinci Resolve is its understanding of setting shortcuts. It is entirely different from any other program I have used before, making the learning curve not as straightforward as you would expect, but trust me, it is worth it.What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?I have made videos on YouTube and social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), and I can say that it helped me simplify my workflow to deliver great work. I usually worked with other tools for 3D animations and handling audio. Still, DaVinci Resolve has all that built-in, so I don't need to worry about any of that besides the 3D animations I build in Blender.

What do you like best about the product? The significant number of features in an accessible package... it's free! What do you dislike about the product?I didn't found anything I dislike yet in this software. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Whenever you want a personalized video edition with control of all matters (image, sound, design, outputs...). In the free version of this software, you have everything you need to get your video done.

What do you like best about the product?Love that there's a powerful free version! I've been using the paid version for a while now, but honestly, it's not necessary. And the best part? No subscription-based model! In my opinion, the software is on par with Adobe Premier, if not even better. What do you dislike about the product?I don't think there's anything I dislike. However, I would appreciate better subtitle features for making short videos for YouTube and TikTok. That being said, I think the software is heading in the right direction by introducing more and more features for shorts. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?DaVinci Resolve is my go-to for video editing on both YouTube and TikTok. I used to make longer videos on YouTube and needed something that would make my life easier. That's where DaVinci came in clutch. And the DaVinci coloration features really help my videos pop!

What do you like best about the product? What do you dislike about the product? No me gusta nada que lancen actualizaciones intentando meter con calzador muchas herramientas nuevas que funcionana a medias o que dan muchos problemas y dejan de funcionar correctamente las nuevas herramientas o las que ya tenian muy bien implementadas. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Como he comentado anteriormente, me encanta tener todas las utilidades que mas uso diariamente en un solo programa, a eso podriamos aadir el hecho de que la mayoria de profesionales compaeros con los que trabajo usan tambien la misma aplicacion.

What do you like best about the product? What I love most about DaVinci Resolve is its comprehensiveness, practicality, and user-friendliness. It is by far the best editing software that I have used, with a wide range of features that allow me to achieve professional-level results. The program's color correction and grading tools are particularly outstanding, and I appreciate the ability to switch between editing, color correction, and audio editing with ease. Additionally, the program is very intuitive and easy to learn, which makes it accessible to both beginners and experienced editors. Overall, I highly recommend DaVinci Resolve as the go-to video editing software. What do you dislike about the product? While I do think that DaVinci Resolve is a fantastic video editing software, there are a few things that I dislike about it. One of the main issues I have is the occasional instability and crashes, which can be frustrating when I am in the middle of a project. Additionally, the program's requirements for hardware and computer specs are quite high, which can limit its accessibility to users with less powerful machines. Finally, the audio editing tools, while functional, could be improved in terms of user interface and functionality. Despite these drawbacks, I still think that DaVinci Resolve is a great editing software and would highly recommend it to others. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?DaVinci Resolve solves several problems that are essential for video editing, and these benefits are of great value to me. Firstly, the software's advanced color correction and grading tools are industry-leading, allowing me to produce cinematic-quality footage that was once only achievable through high-end post-production facilities. Secondly, the program's editing capabilities are also exceptional, offering me precise and efficient control over my timelines and clips. Finally, the ability to seamlessly switch between editing, color correction, and audio editing workflows all within one program is incredibly beneficial, saving me time and increasing my overall productivity. Overall, DaVinci Resolve's feature-rich and all-in-one capabilities make it a powerful solution for all my video editing needs.

What do you like best about the product?I use davinci resolve for both my personal and company purpose. The great thing is that it is super free as well as a one stop solution for all your video editing related things. I didnt used the studio version but for me the normal version is quite enough. I switched from the so called adobe premiere to davinci resolve due to its user friendliness and free of cost. The colour grading is upto the mark and I can see drastic increase in the video engagement after I started using resolve. What do you dislike about the product?Nothing to dislike. But sometimes a bit laggy in my system. I am using asus tuff gaming laptop. But the premiere pro works cool in that and davinci resolve not. But its not that much a big issue and it will last only for seconds. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Reducing the amount of cost in buying a super cool video editing software. I am wondering how reaolve can give all the qualities of a software without even getting a single penny from the users. The editing options are upto the mark.

What do you like best about the product?I love how it's free and cross-platform. It goes toe to toe with the best in terms of features, and even better in some cases. But because it's free and cross-platform it has the lowest barrier to entry and is the easiest editing tool to use when collaborating with other editors. What do you dislike about the product?Because the software is so feature-rich the learning curve is a bit steeper I find. There's a lot more features stuffed in the same amount of space so it takes some time to learn how to get around Da Vinci Resolve. Though, the end result is that you have a more powerful and capable tool. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?DaVinci Resolve helps me edit videos for Youtube, market my products, and create instructional videos. Video content is becoming more essential to business nowadays, and it's also a great creative outlet, and DaVinci helps me with all of that.
