Hi ladies,

I wanted to share this recent find with you.  One of my friends just told me about it, and I was intrigued enough to give it a shot!  Basically, Stitch Fix is your own online, personal stylist.  You sign up and create a style profile, where you provide information about yourself and your style likes/dislikes (both visually and verbally) and what you want to spend on certain items (for example, I'm willing to spend $50-100 on a dress but as little as possible on accessories).  I also linked to my style board on Pinterest and my LinkedIn profile so they could get a good sense of what I like and what I do.  As frequently (or infrequently) as you like, a stylist will create a "Fix" and you receive it via mail.  You can specify that you're looking for certain items (work clothes, casual, a dress for a wedding or party, etc.) and they will focus on that or you can leave it up to them.  They also send instructions on how to style the items they send!

It is ALMOST risk free - there is a $20 styling fee, but that fee is credited toward anything you keep from your Fix.  If you sent everything back, you'd be out $20.  You have a few days to try everything on and send back what you don't want to keep (in the packaging they provide).  As a new, working mom, I have found I don't have much time to shop and when I have attempted to shop, Greer decided she was over it the second I found something I wanted to try on.  :)  So, to me, it was worth the $20 gamble to get a few new pieces for my wardrobe, and best thing is that they will be unique as it's not the same stuff everyone is wearing from J. Crew or LOFT (two of my go-to stores).  Plus, styling clothes is not my thing.

Anyway, in full disclosure, if you're interested and sign up using the link above  (and decide to get a Fix... you can sign up and fill out your profile but never order a thing), I will get a $25 credit, which is awesome!  But, I truly just thought this was a really neat service and thought you might be interested too.  My Fix arrives next week, so if you're curious, just email me back and I will let you know what I think once I see what they send.  I don't want to clog up your email any further if you're not interested.  :)

xo!
Kristin
