Replying to the google group just in case anyone isn't on this email list.

 

Agree w/ Jamie... a first time mom is a first time mom.  :)  I liked that she introduced herself since most of the rest of us have met in person!  We actually have a similar situation in our family, though not quite as much of an age difference.  My husband is 34 and his only first cousins on his dad's side of the family are 8, 6, and 2.  Needless to say, they call us aunt and uncle and we refer to his aunt and uncle by their first names only (they are 47 and 41).  :)

 

I would love to do a moms night out!  I've set up a doodle with some dates so we can pick the one that works best for all (if interested).  Click below and fill it out and I'll send out the date that works best.  Let's assume 7/7:30ish unless I hear otherwise.  I figure for those of us who work (if a weeknight), it gives us time to spend w/ the baby and maybe even get him/her down before we meet up depending on bedtimes these days.  I'm fine w/ doing something earlier on a Friday or Saturday and putting daddy on bedtime duty if that works better too.

I look forward to seeing many of you Wednesday between 4-7. Play group will be at my house this time. We are located at 1933 Volberg St NW in Underwood Hills, which is near the intersection of Collier and Howell Mill (just west of the interstate). We are the second to last house on the right with a large front porch and red door. Feel free to park anywhere on the street (no parking restrictions). I will have some nibbles and probably a bottle of wine or two available (we keep it in stock at all times! Ha!) so just bring your babies and whatever supplies you need or a bottle to share if you want. I do have two golden retrievers but I will put them up while everyone is here. I can't promise you won't find random blond hair balls on the floor though despite my best efforts. ;)
