Its great to be back with you again and I have already received one order even before I send out this newsletter! I am very grateful to Priyanka at the REWA Education Centre as she is allowing us to continue to use the centre as the library section has re-opened even if there are no classes at present. We had an awesome Masterclass at Green House Technologies yesterday and I would like to thank all the participants and the hosts of the event and welcome them to this newsletter. I have adjusted the dates for other up-coming workshops and so please continue to register/book as first come first served is still in operation, especially for the Preservation Workshop where the places are quite limited. The deadline for payment for the Introduction to Organic Gardening/Farming Course is Tuesday 18th August. If you have not already let me know that you are interested please do so ASAP. As an added bonus, those who book for any of the workshops will receive a free digital copy of the Spring Issue of SC Gardens Botswana.

New Dates
August 22nd & 29th : 9.00am to 1pm - Introduction to Organic Gardening/Farming Workshops at Kingfisher Farm, Notwane. These two sessions will give you a full grounding on growing organically and will include demonstrations, practicals and a tour of the farm. Price P700 for the two sessions. (See attached schedule). September 5th : 10am to 3pm - Farmer's Market at Sanitas or an alternative venue to be confirmed.
September 12th : 9.00am to 1pm - Preservation Workshop at Kingfisher Farm.This workshop has very limited places due to the space in order to observe social distancing in my kitchen so book ASAP to avoid disappointment. September 19th : 10am to 4pm - Spring Open Farm and Pottery Event in Notwane. Details to follow.
Please read the step by step procedure for the Veggie service below:
1) Email you order to me and include your whatsapp number.
2) I will confirm availability and total cost via whatsapp or email if you are not on whatsapp.
3) I will send you my banking details - I would prefer you pay online into my Barclays/Absa business account, but if it is not possible you can pay use my personal FNB account using Pay to Cell. I will NOT accept other methods of payment such as ewallet or cash.
4) Payment must be done by Wednesday 2pm, otherwise the order will be carried over to the next drop off date.
5) Payment will be confirmed and then you can collect your order on Wednesday at REWA Education Centre in Maru-Pula from 1pm to 4pm. If not collected by 4pm from the centre you will be able to collect it the next day but it will not be so fresh of course.
6) Directions: As you approach Maru-Pula Secondary School from Maru-Pula, you take the first turn on your right before you get to the school. The centre is at the end of that road. There is a sign post on the left hand side pointing to the road so you should be able find it easily.
The Centre also has a library service and anyone making an order with me will be entitled to 10% off the annual fee and be able to pick up books for their children or themselves. The Centre is also selling Play At Home kits. Details of these two services will be sent on whatsapp once you have made an order.
