Dear Friends,
Thank you so much everyone for making the Pop-Up Easter Market at Sanitas such a great success! This is just a quick reminder that I will be at the Phakalane Pop-Up Market at Mowana Park shopping centre this Saturday 9am to 2pm.
With the wonderful weather we have been having the last few weeks I now have a lot more veggies and herbs available but to avoid disappointment please order in advance. Again could I please request that you bring your empty jam jars to my stall for recycling - especially those that were previously used for my preserves. Please also note that this will be the last market I will be providing plastic bags in line with the Government's ban which starts in April. Thank-you very much.
At my stall this week there will be packs of mixed green lettuce and cos lettuce, bunches of plain and coloured spinach, packs of runner beans and flat green beans, cherry tomatoes, green peppers, leeks, a few bunches of baby beetroots and baby carrots, ravishing radishes, and plenty of healthy herbs, such as dill, garlic chives, chives, coriander, huge bunches of rocket and wild rocket. I will have the full range of my usual yummy preserves including Rocket Pesto, Spicy Pineapple Chutney and Country-style Mustard. And I will also have Natural Honey!
Please note the Open Farm Event is postponed to the 19th May due to the muddy state of the farm and the fact that more rain is also predicted. :) Thus the 2nd Workshop is also postponed until a date to be decided in June.
The date for the Advanced workshop 1 has been finalised and you can book at the Phakalane Market. Please find attached the draft schedule for this workshop. Thank-you.
