Anyone have info on EIAJ/CII or samples?

Hello all,
Part of our company in Japan uses an EDI translator called ACMS that supports EIAJ/CII with Japanese characters. It needs to be upgraded so we are considering the use of Bots instead.

That is all the info I have at this stage, just putting the question out there for anyone who knows about this format?
I am assuming I would need to create Bots grammars for this, but can't find much documentation online apart from the attached PDF

Any help or other links appreciated.

first time I saw this.
Japan only....
reading though the pdf you send:
- a binary protocol
- lots of 'modes' (at least 2 sets of headers)

bots does not support the editype.
