processing large files - pricat

hi all/community

I'm a large file about 8000KB/8MB for a price catalog (PRICAT) message. 

however, it actually hangs the system for this size.  even tried 2000KB/2MB it same behavior. 

any suggestion for processing this kind of size? any configuration that I can tweak? 

how to best handle large file?

just to add:

1. i already increase 10000000

2.  logs , debug i already set to false - so i wont write to much in engine log. 

3.  im able to process 2mb , 4mb file. but 7 or 8MB - it just stays here : 0211023 13:37:11 INFO     engine : Running route PRICAT_ROUTE and it does not complete so i dont know if it just takes a while but for more than 15mins its stay here. 

please help, any advise is so much appreciated.

thank you very much for help. the fix did resolve the performance.  comparing the changes done, i see what was the mistake/error i made. learned from it.
