Hi all!

First of all, thanks for the great software. I need help wit the issue explained below.

I am using modified demo_one-on-one_edifactorder2xml_2_0.zip plugin in my project. All is workin ok except for the back translation from xml to edifact. BOTS is placing all messages from all xml files to a single *.edi file. Is it possible to set up BOTS to put each xml file to a separate *.edi file?

Thanks,
Serge.

hi Serge,

I really advise not to use one-on-one translation.
in general it is not a good way to do edi.

in botssys/grammars/edifact in fiel edifactsyntax.py there are syntax parameters.

parameter 'merge' is (by default) True for edifact, set it to False.
bots/grammar.py contains the overview of all syntax setttings.

but I really wonder why you should not want multiple messages in one interchange. This is how the edifact standard works....

if you would send different message-types, or send to multple partners, bots will nover merge the messages.
