FORTRAS Mapping with Bots?

Hello everyone,

for our latest project, I am thinking about using Bots to generate a FORTRAS EDI. The FORTRAS EDI Standard probably isn't very widespread, because I could not find any corresponding themes to FORTRAS in this mailing list. 

Anyway, do you have some experience with this yet? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FORTRAS 

Did you ever encounter this Standard in your EDIs? If it is not common at all, then maybe we should try to use another Standard in this project.

it is used by some German transport companies.
I really prefer to work with edifact.
it is more broadly used than FORTRAS.
