I get a strange message with empty gcode files when I send an STL to slicer 9.10b on linux.

/bumblebee-0.4/slicers/slic3r-0.9.10b/linux/bin/slic3r: Syntax error: "(" unexpected

When I send gcode, all is fine...

Can you send the stl that is currently doing this? I'm currently working on this issue as well as one other. The workaround for now is to fail the slice job if the gcode is empty. I don't think it's a slic3r issue, but I can't rule anything out. Also, your info.log would be nice.

The STL is the 20mm test box from the essential calibration guide (from thingiverse) and it has always worked fine...  I even changed the name not to include any strange characters.  No effects.  Still fails

Oh, okay. The reason I'm confused is that your log file says you're using the Linux version of 0.9.9 when the error you gave says you're using 0.9.10b.

Right... Yes.  I tried 0.99 as well, with the exact same result.  Not slic3r related...
