Please all dear friend I want to you to spred this letter to all you know, to share my problem and story of AMEX Saudi Arabia with me, and how they deal with Naionals.

MY Story with American Express office in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh (AMEX)

 

Simply in 9 August 2008, an AMEX representative visited me in my office at work and gives me an application to fill, and said in few days the main office in Riyadh will call you. A month later I did receive a letter from AMEX customer services saying that (we regret to inform you that based on the information provided your application does not meet our criteria for issuance of the American Express Card).

I called them to find out, they told me that they check with SIMAH (Saudi Credit Bureau) and found my name on black list, so when I clear my name from SIMAH I apply again.

In January 2011, I called AMEX again they send 2 representative to my office and I fill in the application and they said just wait one week and we will call you.

One week they called me sorry but your application is being rejected, one more week later I did receive a letter from AMEX denying my application and no reason just the same sentence (we regret to inform youï؟½ï؟½ï؟½ï؟½).

I got so upset and send them a very anger e-mail, in which I said I will raise it up to the United Nation if they do not give me one reason for regression.

2 hours later in the same day they called me and they said that they will send my paper and my clearance from SIMAH to AMEX and things will be OK, later in the same day AMEX Customer Service Office called me saying sorry but you have to wait 6 month then apply again, I asked for the reason, they say it is AMEX rules.

The next day I sent another e-mail and I was so unhappy, I felt that they are treating me so bad, by not giving me any reason, just ignoring me.

Then one day later they called me saying sorry but you have to wait another 2 years, at this moment I felt so angry, because now they are making the problem personal and the reason because I intended to spread it out .

Dear friends. AMEX have no sense about ABC of marketing and customer care, they donï؟½t know that one angry customer will tell at least ten other customers or potential customers and then it will be spread it out and rolled as a ball of snow.

AMEX doesnï؟½t know that bringing back an ex-customer will cost them higher than keeping him in.
