There is "TWO DAY NATIONAL SEMINAR ON “FORESTS FOR PEOPLE” on 28th –
29th December, 2011, which is Jointly Organized by Post Graduate
Department of Botany, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University,
Nagpur And Department of Forests, Government of Maharashtra.
The Seminar is planned to-
Educate the people about significance of the forest
Discuss strategies for protection of forests
Discuss role of various stakeholders in management of forest
resources
Capacity building and other forest related issues
