Vintage2022: The first vintage for the Nero block evidenced proof of concept. The growing season was practically perfect until the Labor Day heat wave. With five consecutive days over 104o F, peaking at 119o F on September 6, despite its tender age, Nero stood fast. Yes, it got ripe, but stayed plump and retained its acidity. We picked it on September 12th at 28.5 o Brix, a TA of 0.61 g/ 100 mL, and a pH of 3.66.
Winemaking: Easy does it. Eschewing S02, we pitched with non-saccharomyces yeast, and cold soaked for eight days. Fermentation temperatures were moderate, and cap management was gentle, using our juice only pumpover technique to retain suppleness.
Whether in a cozy garden in the country or a modern roof terrace in the city center - the Flex collection combines clear contrasts: a slim, elegant aluminum frame combined with handcrafted wooden surfaces made of teak Nero. The black colored wood is one of the most widespread woods in Africa - it is particularly durable and weatherproof. This creates a contemporary and purist style. The high-quality, weatherproof materials are ideal for outdoor use - Flex Concept 10 requires little maintenance and is designed for year-round use in the garden.
The Flex Lounge comes with generous seat and back cushions and can optionally be equipped with various decorative cushions.
We recommend the cushions in the following color combinations for the flint/teak combination. Keep it simple or add colorful accents.
Thanks to the use of powder-coated aluminum and high-quality wood, the lounge is not only particularly durable, but also extremely stylish. Flex turns every moment outdoors into a celebration. The richly contoured, characterful design catches the eye and will delight your guests. A little more luxury through the manual processing of teak Nero - it is sanded, brushed by hand and treated with a special technique that brings out the special structure. The iridescent shades and the change between matt and shiny create the perfect level of elegance, subtlety and drama.
The lounge of the series is available in 2 color combinations. The Manutti furniture is ordered specifically according to your color preferences and can be combined with 53 different cushion colors. We would be happy to send you samples upon request. However, no exchange is possible for individual orders.
Thanks to their frame made of coated aluminum and wood, all furniture in the Flex collection is also suitable for use in harsh, salty climates such as by the sea or by the swimming pool. You can also optionally order protective covers for your Manutti furniture. These are polyurethane coated and have welded seams to protect against water penetration. They are mold and fungus resistant and breathable at the same time. They keep all furniture dry and protect against stains (for all Manutti furniture, except for wooden furniture).
Just like other types of wood, teak becomes rougher and grayer over time when exposed to sun and rain. Manutti offers a corrective agent to care for black wood - this is used to maintain and restore the black color.
For the cushions: The covers can be washed at 30C - use a liquid detergent without fabric softener. Detailed washing instructions are always included in the packaging of the cushions. Please do not iron.

The concept of Nero is a simple one: the Tenno have invaded the Void often enough (on their quest for epic loot) that the Corrupted have been exposed to them enough to copy and use the design of the Tenno. This is referenced in the build requirements. Being corrupted, it also has some inherent corruption thrown in with him as well, shown by how it takes the four Dragon Keys to build him as well, along with how each ability references a different key.
Nero is bulky and very upright, with a long cape (syandana) flowing behind him. Upon his head lies a crown of energy. The buckle on his belt would glow upon activation of an ability, showing the glowing outline of the Dragon Key related to the ability used. Base colouration would be similar to Excalibur, but with a shift towards the colourations of the Corrupted.
Nero is by no means able to tank hits. Nor is he able to take the front line, be a scout, or maintain a swift pace. However, what he excels at is leading; being a king he inherently works best in a team environment. To succeed, Nero will likely need a sword and a shield, or any other beings willing to take those roles for him.
Since Nero is built from and corrupted by the Dragon Keys, each ability has a second effect. When you activate an ability, it nullifies to some extent the effect the related key has on you. None of these numbers, including durations, can be affected by mods. Casting an ability while Nero is experiencing the effects simply resets the timer.
So I've never really done a character doll before, but this seemed like a fun place to start. I thought about just buying the release Volks did of her a few years ago, but the faceup really doesn't do it for me? Like, she's cute, but she seems really subdued in comparison to her personality.
I think I might be being weirdly nitpicky here? But either way, I wanted to change the faceup and I felt bad doing that to an older, limited doll since I know plenty of people do like the default?? It's silly but I don't want to take that from someone in a situation where there's definitely a finite number already floating around!
Longterm goals are to get a few of her outfits, like her original red dress and the bride outfit/s. For now, she's getting that little red dress (ETA: the actual term for the dress is banned on the forum??).
I'm looking forward to seeing your DD fully assembled And I agree with you about the faceup, the original one doesn't really do her justice. Maybe it's because of her eye makeup... And good luck finding pieces of the nero outfit! I can only recommend looking for it on mandarake and jungle, Yahoo auction is probably another good site but I have no experience with this one.
Current plans right now are that I'm waiting to be able to order an accurate wig from Double K Workshop, and I'm putting together a casual outfit for her so if I take her out anywhere I don't have to worry about damaging her fancy dress. In the meantime for wigs, I ordered this ponytail wig in Dandelion, since it'll work well enough for the time being and then another one of my girls can use it.
So in regards to the casual outfit, I have most of it figured out, but I was stumped on shoes. So then I decided that some absurd, knee high gold boots would suit her REALLY nicely... and I could only find one pair that I didn't really like ? So what was I to do?! I bought a $6 pair of boots off ebay in black to gamble with, and I'm going to paint them gold! Ha! I'll be linking to the log of that adventure at a later date, I'm starting the process tonight but I have no idea how this'll go, haha.
I love that face-up - it really captures her personality well. The Volks version seems to have a very similar face-up to Artoria, which doesn't really work because their personalities are so different.
YES I agree!! Capo did such a wonderful job on it ;-; I was SO disappointed in the official Volks version bc it was so subdued? Which works great for Artoria but Nero is uh... she sure is allergic to the concept of being subdued LMAO.

Machine reading (MR) is essential for unlocking valuable knowledge contained in millions of existing biomedical documents. Over the last two decades1,2, the most dramatic advances in MR have followed in the wake of critical corpus development3. Large, well-annotated corpora have been associated with punctuated advances in MR methodology and automated knowledge extraction systems in the same way that ImageNet4 was fundamental for developing machine vision techniques. This study contributes six components to an advanced, named entity analysis tool for biomedicine: (a) a new, Named Entity Recognition Ontology (NERO) developed specifically for describing textual entities in biomedical texts, which accounts for diverse levels of ambiguity, bridging the scientific sublanguages of molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, and medicine; (b) detailed guidelines for human experts annotating hundreds of named entity classes; (c) pictographs for all named entities, to simplify the burden of annotation for curators; (d) an original, annotated corpus comprising 35,865 sentences, which encapsulate 190,679 named entities and 43,438 events connecting two or more entities; (e) validated, off-the-shelf, named entity recognition (NER) automated extraction, and; (f) embedding models that demonstrate the promise of biomedical associations embedded within this corpus.
