Installing and recording with Bot - Bot

Hi Guys

I have downloaded bot bot framework and also apache ant, but I am not able to figure out where I need to run the recording server:

1. Start the recording server

Bot-bot needs a server to record user actions as tests. To start the bot-bot server go to the root directory of the downloaded version of bot-bot using cmd prompt(or terminal in case of linux) and type

ant server


Is it to be done in the apache ant root directory as when I am doing it in bot bot root directory, the command is not recognized as
I cannot see any ant batch file there.

Please help to start the recording server.

Hi Vishal,

As you had downloaded the main master code which is unreleased the said command wont work.
You have to build the server from code and for that you need to install maven.

Hi Varun

Thanks for the reply can give me the steps to install maven and start the bot bot recorder, As when I am running the mvn clean install command it is giving build failiure error.
