Open mic night is about capturing the feeling of our in-person meetups:
spontaneous exchanges with new friends, exploring new topics, getting
and giving recommendations. Walking around the room trying demos,
hearing snippets of dialog, picking up interesting conversations...
Open mic nights are a great way to learn to perform in a low-pressure environment and are a perfect way to practice and refine your material. Whether you're talking about your successes or your failures, sharing knowledge or seeking guidance, we're genuinely interested in your material and would love to hear what you have to say.
The night will be split in two phases. If you're not inclined to present, maybe you'd like to lead a discussion afterwards in a smaller breakout room where we can split up and chew on the ideas a bit. And while we may not have real pizza and beer* for a while, we can try to recapture the feeling of ideating together.
