Hello, unicyclists. I'm writing a story for the Boston Globe about
unicycle commuters, and I'd like to speak with people who fit in this
category. Basically, I'd like to write about the experience of using a
unicycle as a form of transportation. I'm a regular at the MIT
juggling club (as are some of the people in this group) and this idea
was formed there one Sunday afternoon when I heard a unicyclist
discussing how tricky it is to ride on the streets because no one
seems to know how to treat you (some cars treat you like a wheelchair,
and create more problems than necessary attempting to avoid you;
others treat you as a bicycle and assume you can accelerate into
openings that you can't, etc.).
Please contact me if you can help with this story.
