注册公司和网站

想请教一下有关这方面的问题。

我想注册一个网站，但是网站不属于我个人。我想把网站放到我注册的公司名下。那位知道具体步骤吗？

还有，如果刚刚起步，目前就我（也许和朋友，不定），注册LLC可以吗？如果在网上做业务，LLC可以保护本人的法律责任吧？

I do not think you can register a domain name with business name. But you can hide your registry information so that WHOIS does not display your personal information.

 

Anybody can register LLC company in MA. The registry fee is $500 and you can do it online. It will cost you $500 every year and $300 to close it. LLC is kind of business entity that can protect your personal property from business. However it is limited. There is discussion LLC vs business insurance. Inaddition you can convert business from one to another at any time.

 

If you are in pre-mature stage, you can just register your business in your town. It probably only cost $20 for 5 years. So that you can get required document to open business bank account and et al.

Which town can register business for $20? I live in watertown, MA.
When I go to watertown official website and register new business, it
redirected to state business register. Thanks.

You have to go town hall and fill out application form. Some towns may require getting approval from building department too if you register your business at residential address. Different town has different policy. Good luck.
