Lots of cool stuff...

Wed Mar 11, 8pm: Emma Azelborn at Club Passim
Where: 47 Palmer St, Cambridge, MA
Many of you know Emma as a pub singer, writer of cool songs, co-founder of the Violet Folk Sings, and contradancer.  Now you can see her perform in public!
"Join Emma Azelborn for an evening of group singing celebrating her record Circle Songs Vol. II. Emma and special guests will lead the room in a mix of her original songs and pub sing favorites..."
Doors at 7; show at 8: https://www.passim.org/live-music/events/emma-azelborn/

Thu Feb 12, 7-10pm: Somerville Pub Sing at Arts at the Armory Café
Where: The Center for Arts at the Armory, 191 Highland Ave, Somerville, MA
Park at the rear; enter at the front. We'll be in the cafe, where they have soup, sandwiches and desserts as well as wine and a nice variety of bottled beers. Often, a few people show up early to grab dinner beforehand.
COVID PRECAUTIONS: Because singing is a relatively high-risk activity, please be symptom-free and have either up-to-date vaccination or a same-day rapid COVID test. There is, however, no mask requirement.

Sun Mar 15, 2-5pm: Boston Area Chantey&Maritime Sing at the Waterworks Museum!
Where: 2450 Beacon St, Chestnut Hill, MA
This is a trial of a really cool venue!
Sing sea chanteys and other maritime-related songs with a room full of fellow enthusiasts.
There is free parking on site for up to 20 cars; make sure that you park in a spot that says Museum Visitor parking.
It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk from either the Reservoir D-line or Cleveland Circle C-line T stops.
There is an accessible entrance with a ramp and doorbell to the right of the museum. Once inside, all public museum spaces are wheelchair and walker accessible. Restrooms are in the basement, reachable by elevator.
The museum is free but they appreciate donations.

Tue Mar 17
1-2pm: Bring a Song (to Lexington)
Where: Lexington Community Center, 39 Marrett Rd, Lexington, MA
A pilot daytime song circle with Deborah Anne Goss.  RSVP: 781-698-4840
Sing a song or lead a sing-along -- with or without instruments; solo or with a group.  Songs may be of any kind, but please nothing too rude or scary.  Feel free to request a song or ask for help singing one.
6-8pm: Growing Center Outdoor Pub Sing
Somerville Community Growing Center, 22 Vinal Ave, Somerville, MA
If you don't have a Somerville parking permit, you can park on Highland Ave and walk down. Come sing in-person, outdoors, in a beautiful setting! We'll have a propane fire pit and marshmallows to toast. Other snacks are welcome.
COVID PRECAUTIONS: Because singing is a relatively high-risk activity, we ask that people attend only if vaccinated, boosted, and symptom-free. Anyone may lead a song, but no-one is obliged to. Drinking songs and sea chanteys always go over well, but anything with a good, singable chorus will be appreciated.
