Note: Next weekend is also the annual Moby Dick marathon at the New Bedford Whaling Museum.  I've never been, and it's not a singing event, but it's chantey-adjacent and sounds very cool:

Sat Jan 3, 1-5pm: CT Sea Music Festival Chantey Blast fundraiser
54 Greenmanville Avenue, Mystic, CT (map)
A big in-person chantey sing to raise funds for the Connecticut Sea Music Festival. $20 suggested donation at the door. While you're at it, raise a glass! Beer and wine will be available for purchase at the bar.
Note that, although the festival is in Essex, CT, the chantey blast is in Mystic, CT!
