Thu Nov 13, 7-10pm: Somerville Pub Sing at Arts at the Armory Café
Where: The Center for Arts at the Armory, 191 Highland Ave, Somerville, MA
Park at the rear; enter at the front. We'll be in the cafe, where they have soup, sandwiches and desserts as well as wine and a nice variety of bottled beers. Often, a few people show up early to grab dinner beforehand.
COVID PRECAUTIONS: Because singing is a relatively high-risk activity, please be symptom-free and have either up-to-date vaccination or a same-day rapid COVID test. There is, however, no mask requirement.

Sun Nov 16,
2-5pm: Boston Area Chantey&Maritime Sing
Where: Davis Square, Somerville, MA
For location, email aprilcath...@gmail.com or call 617-291-6827.

Tue Nov 18, 6-8pm: Growing Center Outdoor Pub Sing
Somerville Community Growing Center, 22 Vinal Ave, Somerville, MA
If you don't have a Somerville parking permit, you can park on Highland Ave and walk down. Come sing in-person, outdoors, in a beautiful setting! We'll have a propane fire pit and marshmallows to toast. Other snacks are welcome.
COVID PRECAUTIONS: Because singing is a relatively high-risk activity, we ask that people attend only if vaccinated, boosted, and symptom-free. Anyone may lead a song, but no-one is obliged to. Drinking songs and sea chanteys always go over well, but anything with a good, singable chorus will be appreciated.

Wed Nov 19, 7:30-10:30pm: Port Session in Newburyport
The Port Tavern, 84 State St, Newburyport, MA
This doesn't happen every month.  Cancellations/confirmations are sometimes but not always posted in their facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/nbptportermen).  Failing that, you can call the venue: (978) 465-1006
"Join The Portermen for an evening of merrymaking whilst singing sea shanties and folk songs from the British Isles, North America and beyond. This is an open singing session and all are welcome to join in a rousing chorus, lead a song or just listen and enjoy! Acoustic instruments are also welcome to accompany your song!"

Thu Nov 20, 7-10pm: Belmont pub sing
Where: Odd Fellows Hall - Friendship Lodge #20 IOOF, 16 Maple St, Belmont, MA
*** BYO food & drink. Must be 21+ to partake of alcohol. *** Come sing with us! Trad folk music of (mainly) America, Canada, & The British Isles. Sea shanties, drinking songs, mining songs, farming songs, all sorts of songs! Good choruses and great harmony abound. Emphasis on group participation and an inclusive atmosphere.
