Hi folks,
Thanks to everyone who came to last weekend's DINOJam -- it was an
awesome event, and we're looking forward to the next one!
I'm writing up an event wrap-up post for the new blog I'm launching
for (the tentatively named) Boston Game Jams, which will be the site
through which we publicize DINO Jams for the time being.
To help me make an awesome page for the April 2010 DINO Jam, could
those who participated please send me:
* The official name of your game (as you would like to appear on the
blog and website)
* One or two paragraphs describing your game and/or what motivated you
to make it (inspirations, tech choice, etc.)
* Two or three screenshots, preferably including a title screen
picture
* The name of each author, including a link for each one, if desired
Here's an example, for the game I made: (this formatting not
necessary)

In Forest Frenzy, you're trying to collect enough "life energy" from
the bottom of the screen to grow the plants at the top of the screen,
which in turn prevent the ghosts from consuming each other. The game
was meant to be about balancing a natural ecosystem.
I made Forest Frenzy because I wanted to learn how to use the newly
released Akihabara engine, which allows for pure-HTML5 games, written
in Javascript, a language I use a lot for other projects. I decided to
modify Akihabara's PacMan-clone demo game, as it had the most
documenation and I wanted to make a strongly tile-based game, anyway.
