Welcome to March! This month, we'll be at a special one-time new location, the Waterworks Museum in Chestnut Hill, MA. Below, please find the announcement for the reference of anyone not on the original email list. My apologies to anyone seeing this twice, but you know how it is.

The original chantey sing of the greater Boston area is BACK!
Sing sea chanteys and other maritime songs with like-minded folks!
Free – open to the public – sing, listen, or request a song
DATE AND TIME: Sunday, March 15, 2 pm to 5 pm
LOCATION: We have a special NEW LOCATION for March 2026! As a special one-time event, please note we are at:
Metropolitan Waterworks Museum
2450 Beacon St., Chestnut Hill, MA 02467
The
Waterworks Museum in Chestnut Hill has kindly offered to host us for
the March sing, so we'll be at a site connected with water and local
industrial history. The museum is letting us use a comfortable room with
a bird's-eye view of the pumping engines that used to provide water
from the reservoir to downtown Boston. If we play our cards right, we might be able to end the event by singing a couple of songs in the former water tank area, which is now simply a round room with resonance.
From the museum's website, here is travel and facility information:
"There is free parking on site for up to 20 cars.
Make sure that you park in a spot that says Museum Visitor parking.
We are about a 10- to 15-minute walk from either the Reservoir D-line or Cleveland Circle C-line T stops.
There
is an accessible entrance with a ramp and doorbell to the right of the
museum. Once inside, all public museum spaces are wheelchair and walker
accessible. Restrooms are in the basement, reachable by elevator.
The museum is free but we appreciate donations."
If necessary, you can contact the Museum front desk by phoning them at
