1/21 Red-shouldered Hawk and Other Raptors at Belle Isle

1:30-3:55. The Red-shouldered Hawk was one of my target birds. I got it within ten minutes! It was over by the end of "new" boardwalk. (near parking lot). This place, and any marsh area can be rewarding even in the dead of winter. All one has to do is keep their eye to the sky

RED-SHOULDERED HAWK 1 immature; continuing for many days now
Red-tailed Hawk 3 including a pair together (male and female); obvious size difference
Sharp-shinned Hawk 1
Northern Harrier 2+
American Goldfinch 13
House Finch 20
