Hi everyone,
Due to the ongoing heavy mosquito levels at Belle Isle Marsh, we’re moving the location for the joint Brookline Bird Club-Boston Nature Center bird walk on Sat., Aug. 26 from Belle Isle Marsh to our backup location of Millenium Park. The walk remains free of charge and will still take place @ 7:30 am.
Millennium Park is a reliable place to see
birds year round so we should still plenty of birds. We can expect to see
killdeer, kingbirds, kingfisher, black-crowned night herons and green
herons, swamp sparrows, flycatchers,
yellow warblers, and incoming shorebirds.
We’ll meet in the parking lot by the canoe launch.”
Please contact MassAudubon at (617) 983-8500 or b...@massaudubon.org with questions.
Thanks,
Neil Calabro
