In Mattapan and Roslindale. What a beautiful day. I birded from
1:00-6:30 in these contiguous locales, starting first in Mt. Hope
Cemetery, followed by New Calvary Cemetery, and ending in Boston
Nature Center:

Killdeer 9 annual autumn spot
Solitary Sandpiper 2 flyover at dusk, calling!
Mourning Dove 60 B.N.C.
Eastern Phoebe 1

Carolina Wren 3 incl. two Mt. Hope!
House Wren 1 New Calvary Cem.
HOODED WARBLER 1 cont. for a week or more on boardwalk along Fox
Trail; first located by C. Hartshorn
Northern Waterthrush 2 one Mt. Hope pond, one Fox Trail
American Redstart 2 Mt. Hope pond
Blackpoll Warbler 1 Mt. Hope pond
