Finally Discovering the Common Raven Nesting Location in Newton?

As I was standing on Eliot St. in Newton's Upper Fallls neighborhood in front of the D.P.W. yard, a few ravens flew to a tree on the edge of the sidewalk. After five minutes, they flew inside the giant sand and rock salt shed. hmmm. This was at 3:30 p.m.If that weren't enough, near dusk, I came upon a pair of unseen Great Horned Owls calling behind #40 Fenwick Rd. in the Waban section of Newton. Amazing what one finds just while walking without bins!
