Our next Balboa on a Sunday Afternoon: Now Times Edition will be SUNDAY, JUNE 11 from 12:00-3:30pm. We're returning to the Dance Complex in Cambridge and will be in Studio 2.
We'll plan to have a few "Balboa snacks" sprinkled through the afternoon -- (fully optional) short segments of guided practice -- but otherwise we'll be largely unstructured. Have something in particular that you’d like to work on? Have something interesting you’ve learned recently or been playing with? Come and share! We’ll play music, and Nelle, July, Stan, and others will be available to facilitate.
Schedule:
12:00-3:20pm — open practice
3:20-3:30pm — clean up/clear out
We're
working on some kind of after-practice social outing,
especially if the weather is nice. Stick around to the end
of practice to find out where!

Reminder that we continue to require masks (N95/KN95/KF94). Although the Federal COVID-19 public health emergency has ended, the actual COVID pandemic has not and we are still maintaining our precautions to provide a safer space for our whole community. Given that we are in an enclosed space in close contact with others while engaging in an often aerobic activity, we will continue to require masks while in the studio. If you have one, please bring/wear a mask (N95/KN95/KF94) when you arrive at check in. We'll have extras at check-in as always.
Also, please avoid wearing/using fragranced products (like perfume/cologne or fragranced soap and hand sanitizers). Balboa is a close embrace dance and we want to minimize exposure for attendees who have fragrance allergies and sensitivities.
