hi there, y'all!

This weekend is a double-shot of Balboa goodness, so brace yourselves!

Saturday Crash Course

Saturday March 16 is another Balboa Crash Course, perfect for anyone
who wants to learn Balboa or refine their technique on the basics.
We'll spend from 1-5pm teaching Balboa mechanics and connection, both
basics, come-arounds, toss-outs, lollies and out-and-ins. Join us, and
tell your friends - especially the ones you've been trying to convince
to dance Bal with you!

Saturday, March 16, 1-5pm, Crosby Whistle Stop, 24 Roland St,
Charlestown.
$30 if you register online today; $35 walk-in

Sunday BoaSA

Sunday March 17 is Balboa on a Sunday Afternoon -- come out and dance
with us, practice, and get your dose of St. Patrick's Day Balboa! It
prevents hangovers! (Bonus: Nelle Cherry will be in the house!)

Sunday, March 17, 3:30-7pm, Crosby Whistle Stop, 24 Roland St,
Charlestown.

All-Bal registration group and Joel & Dominique April Workshops

And looking further into the springtime, we have Joel & Dominique
coming April 12-14 to teach sweet Balboa and Lindy classes in Newton...
and we're still seeking a few more people to fill out a discount group
for All-Balboa Weekend in June! Email us if you want in on the ABW
group, since we have to know all our group members before any of us
register.

Last time Joel & Dominique were in Boston, they taught amazingly good
classes. And THIS happened: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3XRpNapx4o
TOTALLY SWEET. Dang.

See you all soon, dancing Bal!

Oh hey -- I wanted to mention that there are also two great options for
dancing TONIGHT!

Boston Swing Central is bringing back Swing Legacy for tonight's dance
at the Whistle Stop. We heard lots of great things after the last time
they played and since we couldn't make it last time, we're making a
point of getting there tonight.

Swing City is also having a dance tonight (so many options!) hosting
the Compaq Big Band at the West Cambridge Youth Center on Huron Ave (for
those who remember, the former the Cambridge VFW). The Compaq Big Band
recreates that classic Big Band sound that inspired dancers during the
swing era -- and the ones who created Balboa and Bal-Swing (L.A. Swing)
in southern California in particular.

Hope you make it out dancing tonight, and in either case, hope to see
you later this weekend!
