Howdy Balboa friends,

Our next Balboa on a Sunday Afternoon: Now Times Edition will be
happening on August 20th.  After suffering through the heat and humidity
at the Dance Complex last month, we have decided to move back to Salsa Y
Control in Allston (which at least has window A/C units).

For the first hour, starting at noon, July and Stan will be teaching a
class on how to do more with your Balboa Basics to help you really dance
to the music! We'd describe this as "beginner-plus" fundamentals content
-- all students are expected to be at least familiar with at least one
if not both Balboa basics, although we will review both during class.

After class, we'll once again be playing music for social dancing and
practice! (DJ TBD)

Weather permitting, we'll plan to head to Lulu's back patio after
practice for drinks and snacks!

Sunday, August 20th, noon-3pm
12:00-1:00pm — Balboa with July and Stan
1:00-1:15pm — break / questions
1:15pm-3:00pm — open social dance

Cost: pay what you can (suggested: $10 for class, $5 for social dance)
