APO Alumni Service Project and Job Opportunity

Fellow Boston APO Alumni,

I would like to present to you two opportunities of which I will need to hear back from each of you by the time of our meeting on Sunday.  However, I can not make any guarantees that they will still be available by that time so the sooner you let me know, the better.

You are all invited to participate in the 13th Annual Community Service Day that is being co-sponsored by several organizations in which I am involved in. There are several locations in which the volunteering will take place on that day and I feel that the Greater Boston Food Bank, an organization that many of us are familiar with for their phenomenal work in the community, would be a great project for our group.

When: Sunday, May 15th from 1 PM to 3:30 PM

Where: Greater Boston Food Bank- 70 Southbay Ave, Boston

Transportation: Near Andrew Station on the Red Line and parking available on-site

Be sure to eat lunch beforehand or we can arrange to eat lunch together and carpool. The event with be followed by a social event at a local bar or other venue to be decide by the co-sponsors of the event.

In addition, my non-profit organization is seeking a full-time Program Assistant.
