Car pooling to The Portal SC Sunday 1/30

Hi all,

Here's the round-up thread so we can finalize carpooling to the first Store Championship of the season this Saturday in Manchester, CT.

Right now there are two cars going that are carpooling, Lauren and myself (Than)

Lauren's car

My car

- Jamie (please confirm)

- Joe (please confirm)

+1 seat still available

I've got Jamie's address, but Joe, I need yours so we can finalize plan where and when to pick up or meet up.

If anyone else needs a ride or is interested in giving rides, now's the time to speak up.

I am planning to call the store today to confirm whether the 11:00 time listed on Facebook is when registration starts or when round 1 starts.  I'll let the group know when I get a response.

That's sounds great. I would also provide some carpool assistance if I could make this for some of us up north in New Hampshire. But I can't make this first one. I will also reach out for the follow up one that I can attend.

Speaking of the CP, I'm going to be stopping by Panda this afternoon. If anyone going to the SC Saturday needs me to pick up a chapter pack let me know and I'll grab one for you and you can pay me back Saturday.

Ok, called the store and it's 11:00 (or a couple minutes after) for the start of Round 1, so people should probably target getting there by 10:30 or so.

Unrelated: Should someone call The Portal to make sure the pack is in (and thus, will be legal)?  Technically it's supposed to be legal on release, I know, but it wouldn't stun me if they declare it illegal if they haven't gotten it.

I just called. They said its scheduled to be delivered tomorrow (per shipment tracking). 

He doesn’t know if its legal, but will have someone give me a call back about it later tonight.

It really *should* be legal, since FFG actually had a release date for all the new LCG packs for once. --Jamie

Britt won! Top 4 after Swiss were Alex Buganski, me, Britt and Devin Bell. Final was Britt and Alex.

Nice! Gratz guys. The next one I know of is the Pandemonium one and I plan to be there. Hopefully for the rest of them that I can hit for the foreseeable future in the area.
