I don't know if I speak for the group, but Thursday nights vs. Wed would probably boost attendance. I would love to play again though.

Curious - If you were upgrading your CMS (from joomla 1.0) - would you choose joomla 1.5,  drupal, or another?

I worked with Plone a bit last year, definitely a good option to consider, especially if you prefer python.

One more thing. I'm in staffing, and don't believe in pimping jobs in social circles, but this came in 10 min ago, and I don't frequently see such startup-y opportunities.

With the economy and such, and 50s+/hr just wanted to put it out there.

Responsibilities:
Someone that comes from a small shop and is used to wearing multiple hats.
Design, development, documentation, testing of software applications, participation in deployment, ongoing maintenance and performance tuning of software applications. 

Requirements:
Ruby on Rails
3+ years Java/J2EE Applications Development
Struts, JSP experience
Oracle 9 Database exp
Windows Platform

6 month contract
