DigitalAdvisor (our sites include digitalcamera-hq.com, and our latest baby,
locolocal.com) is a small, funded startup (5+ years still counts, right? right?)
trying to (slowly) take over the world. Actually, we make websites
for consumers in a variety of fields -- electronics & deals mostly -- and we're
pretty good at it. We're looking to add another full-time developer to the team,
working out of our Harvard Square office.

We use a variety of cool technologies, including Ruby on Rails, Node.js,
and Coffeescript. We are looking for someone who has a variety
of skills, and the ability (and great desire!) to learn new ones. We will award
you several bonus points if you are also skilled in design.

You:

 -  Would be working closely with the only other developer. You should
be OK with handling your own in this very small team.
 -  Are skilled with HTML and CSS (or better yet, Haml and Sass).
 -  Are pretty kickass at Ruby on Rails. You should know your stuff
(or be interested in learning real quick), but you don't have to be an
ninja, hacker, unicorn, or rockstar.
 -  Are interested in new technologies (node.js? redis? MongoDB?
Riak? Tokyo Tyrant?) & aren't afraid of trying them out in a
production setting.
 -  Can wear other hats too. The sysadmin hat ("it's 3 AM and the site
is down!"), the graphic designer hat("yay pretty pictures!"), or the
javascript-wiz hat("fancy AJAX! form validation!")
 -  Should be OK shipping code under a deadline that is not (even
nearly) perfect.
 -  Are hopefully personable & fun!

We:

 -  Run all our sites on Heroku and try not to reinvent the wheel whenever possible.
 -  Work in a cubicle-less, very open office out of Harvard Square.
It's pretty nice. Telecommuting is not an option.
 -  Are four guys (Business Man CEO, Salesman, Software Developer, & Managing Editor.)
 -  Can actually pay you (equity & competitive salary) for your work.

Interested? Send your resume, a cover letter, and a link to your github
profile (you have one, right?) to hir...@digitaladvisor.com

Bonus points if you compete this little quiz: http://www.locolocal.com/superhappyquiztime
