Hello Puppet People!

As the Summer comes to an end, Puppet Showplace Theater is gearing up for our Fall Season starting with hosting the first tour stop of We Wiggle Dolls! A DIY Puppet Cabaret, featuring The Velvet Dirtmunchers on September 17 and opening our Mainstage Season with Sarah Nolen's The Fairy Tailor on September 23 & 24. 

Puppet Showplace is also looking for acts for our next Puppet Slam! Our next slam will be on October 18 at 8pm and we want YOU to be in it! Submit your slam piece (3 - 8 minutes) here by September 19. 

Don't have a slam piece yet? We are so pleased to once again be offering Brad Shur's Puppet Jumpstart: Creating Short Performance - an opportunity for anyone looking to develop their first (or next!) Puppet Slam piece. Whether you're a beginner or just someone ready to take the next step into puppetry, this is the place for you. This workshop will cover every step of the process, from concept through final performance. Participants will receive individualized support and feedback to create a short performance ready for the stage. Register by September 11!
