Hello, all!

The next Boston Biodiversity Consortium meeting is tomorrow Thursday, May 4th from 2pm-4pm! We hope to see you in-person at Franklin Park Zoo or on Zoom for our hybrid program. Those of you who come in-person are invited to come early and enjoy the zoo for free; just tell the admissions staff you're there for the BBC meeting!

We would love to see you all there - if you’re planning to attend in person, please RSVP to Matthew Kamm at mk...@zoonewengland.org so we know how many to expect. We have an exciting lineup of presentations for you, including:

Community Efforts to Restore Wildlife Populations and Habitats – Matthew Kamm (Zoo New England)

The Northeastern University Marine & Environmental Science Co-op Program  Emily Condon & Cheryl Arruda (Northeastern University)

Meeting location:

ECO Center at the Franklin Park Zoo

The Boston Biodiversity Consortium is an open and inclusive group for individuals and organizations working on biodiversity research and community science initiatives in and around Boston.  It is a forum for all interested parties to present what they are working on and see where we all may have opportunities to collaborate.  Many of us are doing similar work in this field, and there are no doubt many ways that each of us might add value to what the others are doing.  While some potential collaborators are obvious, many more opportunities are likely to emerge the more we learn about each other!

Sincerely,

Matthew KammConservation Outreach Coordinator
