Join the Apiary Inspectors from New England and New York to “Lunch and Learn” virtually via Zoom Webinars on Fridays from 12pm-1:30pm. Attendees will get the opportunity to meet the dynamic group of Apiary Inspectors who support apiculture in our region as well as ask questions related to honey beekeeping and get advice from the experts in the field. These events are designed to support the beekeeper journey of ensuring the health, seasonal management and treatment of honey bee colonies.

Bee sure to come prepared with questions to ask the inspectors! The events are free and open to the public, but *may not* bee recorded so bee there.

Join the MDAR Apiary Program Team on Tuesdays from 10am-11am and 12pm-2pm to learn virtually and in person at the State Apiary to get the latest updates from the field, practical tips and management recommendations to aid beekeepers in making timely apiary decisions.

Bee sure to come prepared with questions to ask the inspectors! The events are free and open to the public, but *may not* bee recorded so bee there.

Join the MDAR Apiary Program Team to get an update on the 2022-2023 American Foulbrood (AFB) cases in Massachusetts along with information on the biology of this pathogen and visual symptoms to look for when inspecting your live and dead-out colonies in the field. We will also provide recommendations on how to best prevent AFB from getting into your apiary and action steps to take if you suspect an AFB infection in your colonies.
