Dr. Heather Mattila, Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences at Wellesley College, will discuss her honey bee nutrition research, the first field-based study to show how poor larval nutrition has far-reaching consequences for adult honey bees, including detrimental effects on complex behaviors like foraging and waggle dancing.
