NEWCA conference host

Hi all,

Great to see so many of you last week! 

In case you don't get the Northeast Writing Center Association emails, they are looking for a conference host for next spring. If this is something you'd be interested in (now or further in the future), I'd let them know your interest. Something in the Boston area would be very convenient for us and our tutors... :)

Dear Writing Center colleagues: 

 

NEWCA (Northeast Writing Centers Association) - which includes all of New England, parts of Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey - aims to hold its annual conference in spring semester of 2024 (typically held in March or April), with the intent of avoiding competition with other professional conferences taking place during those months. Specific dates will be determined at a later time.

We will be taking submissions through July 31. At that point, final decisions will be made during the first week of August.
