LR boss tips

The toughest two bosses are the stun boss and deflect boss. With the

deflect boss especially, if he procs, you will lose. So it stands to reason

you need to keep him from proccing. How can you achieve this? There

are several factors to consider...

1. A hero can only proc when they have 100 energy, AND they are not

currently silenced (by Aries).

2. Scatter removes energy (so does Aries' proc).

3. The slower the attack speed of a hero, the fewer opportunities he will

have to proc.

Which heroes can help you?

Aries - the most important hero for defeating the tougher LR bosses,

esp. if it has a high skill (8/9 preferred, so his silence lasts longer),

and revit5 (so he procs as soon as he is in attack range). He does

have a cooldown, however, so even if your heroes can reach max

atk speed with PD, there will be windows of time when the boss will not

be silenced.

PD - useful for increasing the attack speed of your heroes, making your

heroes proc more often. His damage buff is also crucial for killing the

boss quickly.

FW (frost witch) - slows down the boss' attack speed. Get her to 6/9 or

better yet, 7/9. These levels provide a good amount of attack speed

reduction, and 7/9 increases the duration of the debuff. Her skill has

no cooldown, BTW.

Cupid - helps your heroes to proc sooner, esp. early in the fight while

the PD stacks are being built up. Revitalize can help Cupid significantly

in the crucial early moments of the fight. Also provides a good damage

buff.

Pixie - Has inherent scatter5, which has a chance of lowering the boss'

energy right before he is about to attack, which would prevent him

from proccing. Pixie also removes enemy buffs (like the deflect shield

or damage reduction shield), so if she procs immediately after the

shield goes up, she may remove it in time to keep your heroes from

dying. She also heals... not as well as Druid, but it's something.

Other heroes to consider are:

Shaman - for the heavy damage boss, and possibly the damage reduction

boss, to help keep your heroes alive.

Molt - atk and atk speed reduction, but Molt does have a cooldown.

Santa - atk and atk speed reduction, but does have cooldown.

any hero with high-level scatter, preferably one that also has a high 

attack speed.

Among the 2 teams, there should be 2 PD's, 1 or 2 Cupids, at

least 1 Aries (2 is much better since you can stagger their proc's, by

positioning them differently based on their revite levels), 1 if not 2 FW's,

1 if not 2 Pixies, and the rest can be filled in with a Molt/Santa/etc. Ork

can also be used to tank the stun boss.

Hero positioning does matter a lot. One, if not both, of the teams should

have 1 or more heroes in the front row. When both players have an empty

front row, the boss will move towards your team, and therefore away from

the other team. This will increase the time it takes for the heroes to proc,

since those heroes will have to "chase" the boss for a bit.

Hopefully these tips help some people. If you don't have a high-skill

FW, start working on one! It's the easiest hero on the list you can get

and level up, and it will make a huge difference to your success rate.
