I'm creating this thread to share Lava Isle 3 (LI3) setups.

Hopefully we have enough people with the right 

combinations of heroes, skills, talents, crests,

artifacts, etc.

I'll maintain a spreadsheet for tracking the team

setups, and heroes from the individual players:

If it looks blank, it's because it's just a placeholder

until we see who has the correct heroes, and which

teams we can construct. Contact me to have

yourself added to the list, assuming you have

relevant heroes that are strong enough and with

correct talents, etc.

It's not good enough just to have the right heroes... 

to have a decent level of success, all heroes also

need to be leveled high enough, have high enough

skills and inscriptions, and some heroes also need

the right talents.

I believe these are a rough set of guidelines for

any team doing LI3:

Arctica - revit5 (not required but gives the highest

    chance of success).

Val - revit5 skill8+ (not required but is highly preferred, 

    having no Val reduces the odds of success significantly).

Cupid - revit5 skill9 (if no Val is present, need 2 of these,

    otherwise 1 of these can be used with 1 Val).

Ghoulem - skill8+, revit3+ crest or talent. GM in the

    tank position (spot #1) needs skill 9 and is preferably

    double-evo. 3 GM's can be used but 4 is safer.

PK - evo, skill7+. Need 4 of these.

IceDemon - must have skill8+, level180+. Need only 1 ID.

Tree - skill8+. Need only 1 Tree.

Aries - skill8+. Need only 1 Aries.

PD - skill8+, blitz artifact. Revitalize4+ is highly

    preferred to Zerk. Need 2 PD's.

DD - skill8+, must be double-evo level 180+, preferably

    with a high level talent that boosts survivability

    (like Bulwark, Tenacity, Stone Skin).

Other heroes can be long-range, multi-shot snipers. 

Spirit Mage is highly preferred because of the high

number of targets and zero cooldown. Grizzly Reaper

is an acceptable substitute with a high skill level (9+).

Multi-shot heroes are better since they are faster at

killing off the other units across the map, which is

critical to keeping all of the PK's alive (PK's are

needed for their high DPS). There are many units

with blade shell and/or flame guard on the map, so

snipers can get killed. The goal is to have all snipers

die fewer than 3 times, or you will most likely run out

of time.

Less desirable are heroes like Medusa and Santa

because they only do damage in a small area.

Trix can also be used for more DPS, but only if there

are already adequate snipers on the team. If no Arctica

is present, a strong Vlad with revitalize5 can be used

to help clear the area on the initial drop, but I think

this isn't necessary and would prefer to have more

snipers.

All heroes should be evolved at least (except Ice Demon,

of course). DD needs to be double-evo, and it is

preferred that GM's be double-evo as well.

All heroes should have high inscriptions, 80+ and

preferably 90+.

All heroes need revive (crest or talent), except GM's

need revitalize3+ (crest or talent), preferably both.

Some heroes need very specific talents, such as

Arctica, Val, and Cupid. Any revitalize except for

revit5 is not very useful. (revit5 = immediate proc,

revit4 = proc in 3 seconds, during which some

heroes may die). It is extremely important that all

of the GM's begin proccing as soon as possible

to keep all the heroes alive.

All heroes need Victor's Emblem 5, except GM's

need Eye of Garuda 5 and PD's need Blitz 5.

If no Arctica is present, a Grimfiend or Pixie may

be used for buff removal, but in my opinion, using

the Celestin pet is a better substitute. Other pets

that are helpful: Aviar, Havoc, Angi, Finix.

It is possible to do LI3 without meeting all of these

requirements, but your success rate will be lowered.

Without a revitalize5 Arctica, it will be difficult to

have a 100% success rate over a large number

of runs. Any further deficiencies in the team

composition will reduce the success rate further.

I believe mino is used in LI2 because of the magic towers.

I don't think LI3 has those, and for LI3, it's far more

important to kill all of the heroes on the map that have

blade shell or flame guard, and for that, you need heroes

that that have no cooldown and can hit multiple heroes

across the map (SM, GR, PK).
