On Monday, January 26, we're meeting at Innovation Depot at 6PM as is usual. We have a pretty fun lineup I think, so without further ado here it is:
- Josh Adams (that's me) will kick off a general discussion around a couple of less-common linux distributions that are both kind of amazing: Arch Linux and NixOS.
- Greg Houston will show us how awesome Sonic Pi is. If you aren't familiar, Sonic Pi is "A free sound synthesiser for live coding designed to support computing and music lessons within schools."
- David Lormor will introduce us to kicking off an Ember-CLI project. (he said tentatively but I'm very pushy)
We'll also have the typical random discussions around all manner of things, open source and otherwise, before and after. Isotope11 will be providing pizza and drinks (again, as is usual except when Josh schedules poorly). Good times will be had. Lasting bonds will be made. Someone will put an eye out.
