I was wondering why in the "bosp" script there is a check on the 'setup' option.

I mean, why should we check if a setup has been already performed?

Whenever a new project repository is added to BOSP, we need a 'git submodule init' before fetching the sources.
Actually this step is performed by "./bosp setup", but as explained above, if the BOSP repository has been initialized once, this step is not performed anymore. Is it worth?

I don't think that is required. If a new module is added to BOSP
an update-stable should be just enought to pull it down.
Just give it a try and report please. I've checked it in the past when
sysfsutils was added as external/requried.
